ATD - Rubbr Application

Introduction

ATD Rubber Application was developed by ATD to cater to customers directly by allowing them to schedule tire installations through the app, reaching customers based on their location and offering tire installation services directly.

My responsibilities as the Senior Product designer included developing a mobile-first experience and a supplementary desktop online experience for the ATD/Rubbr project.

How I contributed

ATD products were broadening their range to include direct installation services for consumers, aiming to provide a new, polished, and captivating experience.

As a senior product designer and project lead, I am proud of crafting comprehensive experiences and collaborating closely with different teams. The successful completion of the project within a tight schedule was greatly facilitated by my teamwork with developers and copywriters.

The challenge

Despite having a tight schedule, I engaged with numerous internal and external stakeholders and played a crucial role in guiding them to ensure the project's timely completion.

This product aimed to be innovative in both its visual and usability aspects. The name was intentionally selected to avoid any association with the more traditional ATD Brand and its colors.

I worked diligently to establish a comprehensive ecosystem and expedite the delivery process.

One of the requisites was to utilize the fitment engine feature from another ATD/Tirebuyer application.

The fitment engine utilized AI to provide customers with tire recommendations ranging from good to best based on location, availability, and vehicle details (year, make, model, and size).
