User flows and Site Architecture
Site architecture is a key component of the User Experience framework, essential for understanding new projects, products, or features.
How I contributed
In my experience, user flows and site maps are beneficial for visualizing and communicating with larger teams. They assist in pinpointing current gaps, loopholes, and problems.
For projects of greater complexity, they are particularly useful for determining the precise locations and methods for integrating new features into an already established workflow or business.
The creative process I follow is distinctive in that it mainly activates the analytical aspect of my mind. I have integrated user flows into different stages of product development and design, particularly when encountering obstacles.
By using this technique, I am able to establish a sense of detachment. I often employ this strategy to encourage teamwork among colleagues, whether within the creative department or spanning across various business and development teams. I consider it a successful method for obtaining a range of perspectives and sparking new concepts. Collaboration is crucial!
